Commercial Kitchen Availability and Booking
Request the time you need, learn how confirmations work and see what to expect before, during and after a booked session.
Free to inquire. We reply by email, usually within one business day.
To book a commercial kitchen, submit a booking request with your preferred date, session length and rental format. We check availability, reply by email with options and confirm your slot in writing. A request is not a booking until we confirm it, and your access details arrive once onboarding paperwork is complete.
Request a booking
Use the form below to request availability. Tell us the date, session length and format you want, and add notes about equipment or storage. We will reply by email with confirmed times or alternatives. If you are new to the kitchen, you will need to complete onboarding before your first session, so consider booking a tour at the same time.

How availability works
Kitchen time is limited and shared, so availability depends on format, time of day and how much of the kitchen other tenants have already reserved. Prime weekday daytime slots fill fastest, while early mornings, evenings, nights and weekends tend to have more space.
Shared and hourly slots are allocated by session. Private and production units are reserved for the full contract period and are not booked session by session. If the exact time you want is taken, we will offer the nearest alternatives and tell you what is available for recurring bookings so you can plan a repeatable weekly schedule.
Seasonal demand and planning ahead
Demand for kitchen time rises sharply before major holidays, during farmers market and festival seasons, and ahead of wedding and event peaks. If your product is seasonal, book your peak weeks early and consider adding a short-term rental for the busiest period. Our short-term kitchen rental page explains how project-based bookings work.
Planning ahead also helps with ingredients and staffing. Confirm your slots, then work backward to schedule deliveries, hiring and packaging. A confirmed calendar makes your whole supply chain easier to manage and reduces the stress of last-minute scrambles.
What happens after you send a request

- We check availabilityWe review your requested date, session length, format and storage needs against the schedule.
- We reply by emailYou receive confirmed options or alternatives, plus any questions we need answered.
- You confirmReply to accept a slot. We then send a written booking confirmation with start time, end time and what is included.
- Access is sentOnce your onboarding documents and agreement are complete, we send access details for your session.
Nothing is held until you confirm, and no payment is taken by submitting a request.
Planning your session length
Choosing the right session length avoids rushed work and wasted money. Add up the time for setup, active production, cooling or packing, and a complete clean-down. Most first-time renters underestimate setup and cleaning. A useful rule is to allow extra time in your first few sessions, then tighten once you know your real pace.
- Setupgathering ingredients, equipment and labeling
- Productionactive cooking, baking or assembly
- Finishingcooling, portioning, packing and labeling
- Clean-downwashing, sanitizing and checking out of your station
Read the hourly rental page to see how setup and cleaning time are counted and the guide on how much kitchen time to book.
Changing or canceling a booking
Plans change, and good kitchens make it easy to adjust. Your agreement sets the notice period for rescheduling or canceling and any fee that applies for late changes. Giving as much notice as possible helps us offer your slot to another renter and keeps your costs down.
If you need to move a session, reply to your confirmation email with your new preferred time. For recurring bookings, tell us if you want to pause, change days or add hours. Repeated late cancellations may affect your priority for popular slots, so only book what you plan to use.

Arriving for your first session
On your first day, arrive on time and allow extra minutes to find your station, storage and cleaning supplies. Bring your documents, labels, thermometer and any small equipment you rely on, and review the kitchen rules so you know what to do before you leave.
If anything is not as expected, tell us immediately and note it so we can fix it. Check out when you finish and make sure your station is clean, your food is labeled and stored, and all equipment is off. A smooth first session sets up easy rebooking later.
Booking etiquette that keeps shared kitchens running smoothly
A shared kitchen works because tenants respect each other’s time. Arrive when your slot starts, and finish and clean down before it ends so the next person can begin on time. If you need to run over, tell us in advance rather than hoping no one notices, because an overrun can delay another business’s production and may carry a fee.
Leave shared equipment ready to use: wiped down, switched off and returned to its place. Clear communication and punctuality are the habits that keep slots affordable and easy to rebook, and renters who build a reputation for reliability are often offered the first chance at new or popular times.
Live availability and booking tools
Some renters prefer to see availability in real time. As our scheduling system develops, members will be able to view open slots and request them directly. Until then, the request process above is the quickest way to hold time and get a written confirmation.
Whether you book through a request or a calendar, the principles are the same: be clear about what you need, confirm in writing and keep your documents current. For pricing questions, see the pricing page or request a quote.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to the questions food businesses ask most about availability and booking.
Is a booking request the same as a confirmed booking?
No. A request is not confirmed until we reply in writing with a confirmation. Nothing is held until you accept the offered time.
How far in advance should I book?
Book as early as you can, especially for prime daytime slots and busy seasons. Last-minute availability varies, so ask for recurring slots if you cook regularly.
Can I book recurring weekly sessions?
Yes. Recurring bookings are available on shared and hourly formats and give you predictable access and often better rates.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellation notice and any fees are stated in your agreement. Give as much notice as possible.
When do I get access details?
After your documents and agreement are complete we send access instructions, usually before your first confirmed session.
Do I pay when I submit a request?
No. Submitting a request is free and carries no obligation or payment.
Can I book more than one session at a time?
Yes. You can request several dates or a recurring pattern in one request, and we confirm what is available.
What if I finish early?
You can leave when you are done and clean, but billing follows your booked slot unless your agreement says otherwise.
Ready to see the kitchen?
Book a viewing or request a personalized quote. We reply by email, usually within one business day.
